The superior king room was exceptionally clean and luxury with spectacular views, bath, for example. The hotel had a great location right next to several bridges. The area was lovely just next door to Tower Bridge, restaurants, sky lounge, and the rail links.

The views were very nice, especially from the Gong bar. We also explored landmarks like Tower Bridge and Borough Market nearby. Highly recommend checking out the pool and sauna as well. A great atmosphere and amazing comfort!
One downside was the communication from the staff at the bar. They came off a bit unfriendly, unexpected for a place with such a high reputation.

Amazing city views!
The views from my room were insane! The staff treated me like family, always asking how my day was. They even surprised me with chocolates for my b-day! Only thing to be careful of, room service burgers ain't worth the price. But everything else? Total win!

Request a south-facing room to avoid noise from air conditioning. they have lovely views over the city and are worth the upgrade.

Choosing the Shangri-La for my stay turned out to be a great decision. The views from my room on the 43rd floor were amazing, especially with a clear sight of St Paul's and the London Eye. The luxurious room featured nice amenities, including an excellent bathtub with a city view and convenient air conditioning. I loved the the birthday cake they sent to our room, a good surprise for my partner's special day. The staff treated us wonderfully was great. There were a few bumps in the stay. The check-out experience was quite frustrating. I was mistakenly charged for an additional breakfast that was included in our package. The staff's response didn't inspire confidence, and I felt overlooked when I raised the issue. The breakfast itself was crowded and not as well-organized as I'd hoped, with slow replenishing of food. Essential features of the hotel, like the pool, also felt basic. For the price, I expected a bit more attention to detail in those areas. The positives certainly outweighed the negatives, but I believe the hotel should tighten its service consistency to match the high standards set by its luxury image.

The amazing views at this luxury hotel were lovely, and the service was attentive. Charging for room service that I didn’t order was disappointing. The decor is in need of updating, but the overall experience inspired lasting memories. I'd consider returning despite a few hiccups.

The panoramic views from our room were amazing, showcasing iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral. The pool on the 52nd floor provided a serene escape with similarly fine vistas. While the service was excellent, with helpful staff facilitating our late check-out, the room layout resulted in a lack of privacy due to angled visibility from adjacent rooms. We also experienced a lengthy wait time for room service, which marred the otherwise luxurious experience.
